    A great campground with extremely friendly hosts! Mike and Wanda run a wonderful escape from the grind of every day life. Cabin rentals are very affordable and come with a free canoe. They're worth every penny!

    The river next to Silgrey is labeled as the Madawaska. This is incorrect and I hopoe Google changes it. The river is actually called the York River. It flows out of Algonquin Provincial Park and empties into the Madawaska River near Combermere. Great fishing, great people, great vacation. I always look forward to visiting Silgrey.

    I've been coming here each summer since 1971 and my father and grandfather since 1958. It's the perfect escape from reality. Mike and Wanda are excellent hosts. Silgrey is a wonderful place. The fishing is superb! Ive never been disappointed in 45 years.

    I've been to Silgrey several times over the past few years. Visited in the summer months as well as in the winter. The hosts are excellent and it's a great place to get away with family and friends. Note, it's pet friendly, too!
